FAQ
Why does my old CSGO crosshair code not work in CS2?
Since the 30 September 2026 update CS2 uses real pixel units and a new share code format that starts with CS and has no dashes. Old CSGO-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx codes are rejected on import. This converter turns an old code into the new one.
How do I convert a CSGO crosshair code to CS2?
Paste your old CSGO-… code into the Crosshair Code field, choose the screen height you played at, and the new CS2 code appears below it. Click Copy, then paste it in CS2 under Settings, Crosshair, Import.
Will my converted crosshair look exactly like the old one?
Codes made in CS2 before the update (already in pixels) convert exactly. Codes from the CS:GO era depend on your screen height. The conversion is verified for the Classic Static style at 1080p and 960p, other styles and resolutions are close approximations, so compare it in game.
Which crosshair codes are supported?
Every CSGO-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx code: CS:GO codes and CS2 codes exported before the 30 September 2026 update. A new code that starts with CS is loaded as is, so you can still edit it.
What screen height should I choose?
Choose the vertical resolution you played at when you made the crosshair, for example 1080 for 1920×1080 or 960 for 1280×960. It only affects codes from the CS:GO era.
Is the converter free and private?
Yes. It is free, needs no account and runs entirely in your browser. Your crosshair code is never sent to a server.
What is Copy Config?
It copies the same crosshair as console commands (cl_crosshair_*) that you can paste into the CS2 console or your autoexec.cfg.
